Who: DJ Bookz

When: WEDNESDAY (BI-WEEKLY) 2pm – 4pm

What: ‘Make It Grime’ is a show dedicated to the underground sounds of the global Grime scene. 

Grime, which originated in London in the late 1990’s – early 2000’s pulls influences from UK Garage, Jungle, 2-step and more. Bookz is a stateside Grime producer and DJ based in Brooklyn whose goal is to help bring Grime to a wider audience and to assist in building a self-sustaining local Grime scene. Bookz is part of the American Grime collective.
